What should I look for when preparing a document for translation?
Translating documents into a foreign language is a complex
process that requires careful planning in advance. For example,
if your document is to be DTP'd (Desktop Published), you will
need to consider text expansion - text tends to expand when
translated, anything from 25% upwards (depending on the language
/ nature of the text), so consider using plenty of white space
in your original English layout to allow for this.
